A fashion and editorial shoot location in Angel, London

Studio 337 is a private Georgian first floor in Angel, London EC1V, hired as a location for fashion, lookbook and editorial shoots. It is £65 an hour on the standard rate and £100 an hour for commercial work.

This is a period interior, not a cyclorama: crystal chandeliers, original cornicing and ceiling roses, a marble fireplace carved with cherubs, a gilt mirror, oak floorboards and double-height sash windows. It suits work where the room is part of the picture. The whole floor is yours for the booking.

What is in the frame

Two chandeliers, original plasterwork, a marble fireplace, a tall gilt mirror between the windows, pale sofas and dark oak boards.

There is room for a full-length frame with the windows behind, and the corners hold a tighter portrait or detail shot on their own.

The light

The windows face south. Direct sun crosses the floor through the middle of the day and the room stays bright at the edges.

Lighting is not provided, so bring your own if the brief needs it. Blackout blinds are fitted for controlled or evening looks, and the chandeliers can be lit.

Hair, make-up and wardrobe

A separate treatment and changing area at the far end, with its own window, gives the team somewhere to work away from set.

There is space for a rail and a steamer. Power is ordinary domestic sockets around the room.

Which rate applies

Leaving a set overnight

Questions

Asked and answered.

What counts as commercial?
Anything shot for a paying client or a funded campaign. Personal portfolios, creator content, headshots and podcasts are all standard rate. If you are unsure, email and we will tell you straight.
Is lighting provided?
No. Studio 337 is a natural-light room, so please bring your own lighting if you need it. The windows face south and blackout blinds are fitted for when you want to control the daylight.
Can we move the furniture?
Yes, within reason, and please return everything to where it was. No drilling, nothing taped to the cornicing or fireplaces, and nothing hung from the chandeliers.
Is there a hair and make-up area?
There is a separate treatment and changing area with its own window, which teams use for hair, make-up and wardrobe.
How many people can I bring?
Up to eight on the standard rate. Up to fifteen on the commercial rate, which is what paid campaigns, brand films and agency crews are booked under.
Can we see it before booking?
Yes. Viewings are free and take about ten minutes. Email info@studio337.co.uk and we will find a time.
