Terms of hire

These terms apply to every booking of Studio 337, a private first-floor studio in Angel, London, operated by Can Kabadayi trading as Studio 337 ("we", "us"). By paying for a booking you agree to them on behalf of yourself and everyone you bring.

Booking and payment

• The studio is hired by the hour, with a one-hour minimum. Prices are those shown on the booking page at the time you pay, in pounds sterling.
• A booking is confirmed only when payment has been received in full through our payment provider, Stripe. A request or enquiry does not hold a slot.
• Weekend bookings, and bookings that start before 8am or end after 6pm, carry the flat supplement shown at checkout.
• The standard rate covers personal work, portfolios, creator content, headshots and podcasts, for up to 8 people. The commercial rate applies to anything made for a paying client or a funded campaign, for up to 15 people. If you are unsure which applies, ask us before you book.

Cancelling or moving a booking

• Cancel up to 48 hours before your start time and you are refunded in full.
• Inside 48 hours the fee is non-refundable, but we will move your booking once, subject to availability.
• If we have to cancel, for example because the space is unsafe or unavailable, you will be offered a new time or a full refund.

Access and timing

• The address, door code and entrance details are sent by email after payment. Please keep the code to your own party.
• Your booking time includes setting up and clearing away. Bookings can run back to back, so please arrive no more than five minutes early and leave on time.
• Leave the space as you found it, with furniture and objects back in place and rubbish taken with you.

Studio use agreement

• Lighting and equipment are not provided. You are responsible for everything you bring and for using it safely.
• No drilling or fixing into walls, floors or ceilings. Nothing may be taped to the cornicing or fireplaces, and nothing may be hung from the chandeliers.
• Do not exceed the number of people your rate allows.
• No smoking or vaping, no naked flames, and no smoke or haze machines without our written agreement.
• Keep noise reasonable. The studio is in a shared building with neighbours.
• The studio must not be used for anything unlawful.

Damage and liability

• You are responsible for any loss or damage to the studio, its furniture or the building caused by you or anyone in your party, and agree to pay the reasonable cost of repair or replacement.
• Your equipment and belongings are brought at your own risk. We recommend you hold your own insurance for equipment and public liability.
• We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost fees or reshoot costs. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.

Photographs of the space

You may publish work made in the studio. Please do not publish the door code, the full address or pictures of the entrance.

General

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you book as a consumer, your statutory rights are not affected. Questions about a booking go to info@studio337.co.uk.
